GENE SIMMONS' NGTV Media Company Wading Into IPO Market

The Beverly Hills-based firm plans to offer 6.03 million units at $5.75 to $6.25 each in a bid to raise about $36 million with Capital Growth Financial. NGTV, which bills itself as a developer of TV programs for cable and internet, providing uncensored news, entertainment and lifestyle-based programming aimed at mature audiences, plans to trade on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol "NGI." Gene was elected to the company's board of directors in February 2004 and became chairman at that time.
